Electrical and Power Engineering

This program is part of our five-year agreement with The School of Engineering and Applied Science (SEAS) at The George Washington University (GWU).  A cohort of some 20 graduate students of engineering from ADA University spend half a year in Washington DC. The cohort is part of a two-year double degree program jointly offered by GWU and ADA University.

Upon graduation, students earn Ms in Electrical Engineering from George Washington University and Ms in Power Engineering from ADA University. Courses are taught both in our Dupont Circle building and in Foggy Bottom campus of SEAS. Students spend Summer and Fall semesters in Washington DC for their graduate study.

Excellence in Teaching and Educational Leadership

Each year, we go to remote villages and towns of Azerbaijan, identify teachers and principals who are eager to learn, to grow and to make an impact. We enroll them in a year-long program of professional development, where they also spend some 8 weeks in Washington DC.
