Our teachers and principals finished the class yesterday, then, stayed at The Washington Center of ADA University. They cooked a holiday meal together. The taste of khangal was amazing. The smell of plov filled the building with a holiday spirit. We all gathered upstairs and shared a meal together. Shorgoghal, halva, home made cakes…followed. Over a cup of tea, we shared our passion, exchanged new ideas, and put forward new initiatives. This was a unique occasion when school teachers and principals from remote parts of Azerbaijan got a chance to celebrate Ramadan in the United States as one ADA family. A truly memorable evening.
