Fridays are set aside for cultural exposure. We visited Mount Vernon, home of America’s first president, George Washington. It was a beautiful day and unforgettable experience. The visit began with a tour of the mansion of George Washington and his wife, Martha. Then, the group had the opportunity to explore the estate which included all the historical areas, gardens, George Washington’s tomb, farm, trails and the opportunity to view the exhibits in the Educational Center.
